Cosmic Technologies affiliates itself with a few projects happening around the internet. This helps us keep in touch with the new trends and upcoming ideas popping up from all over the world. At Cosmic we try to make contributions to different projects in whatever way we see fit.

Currently we are involved in:

  • The distributed.net RC5-64 cracking effort: A joint effort by many people of the internet using idle processor cycles to do algorithms that are making progress to finding the key to a random message. We encourage our customers to participate in this effort.

Information can be found at www.distributed.net. With the lager keysize of the 64bit encryption, it is taking much longer than the 56bit encryption cracking.
